Introduction to Boat Electrics Course in progress for the Westerly Owners Association
These courses are ideal for people who cannot commit to specific dates advertised or for larger groups. As the name suggests the course timetable is up to you, provided that the core curriculum is completed. The initial stage would be to discuss the course syllabus and arrange a timetable with you to completion. The tuition could take place either in our classroom in Emsworth, at your home, on your boat or at your work place. The choice is yours.
- Tailored courses are suitable for:
- One-to-one tuition
- Clubs and societies
- Work places
- Non RYA e.g., tuition or refresher days for areas such as pilotage and passage planning
We regularly run group courses at clubs at special discounted rates.
These are some of the comments our customers have made:
"I am writing this feedback partly as appreciation for a splendid use of my time on Sunday.
The syllabus was well and clearly covered. The company was great. Andy did a really good job of making the subject clear, interesting, and stimulating. I came out of it very much better informed, with some confidence that I might put the radar in my newly acquired Westerly to good use, and an urge to go out and practice with it at the earliest possible opportunity."

"Karen came to Hillingdon to run the VHF Radio Course ‘in-house’ which is a brilliant service. It was professionally run, in a friendly atmosphere, with good visual aids and equipment. Our group was small which creates a great learning situation and it was a productive and enjoyable day. We will definitely be using Emsworth School of Navigation for future courses for our staff."
